Driver’s Profile:

Nithvin  S. Ravindran, was born on 5th.April  1990 in Mysore, Karnataka and bred  in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu -India.  He is Currently doing his bachelor’s in Visual communication.  Initially he was into street racing during his young age  and soon  he discovered , that street racing was not the thing for him and he switched over to driving local Rallies and auto crosses.  It was then that he got an opportunity to show his hidden talent. Unlike most car racers, Nithvin who started racing at the age of 20, came into the limelight  within a few months of his car race driving experience, whereas  most of the drivers of his age would have had a decade of racing exposure, before stepping on to the PODIUM.

The racing saga kicked off… for Nithvin S.Ravindran when he entered the racing arena at the  “Kari Speedway”  in Coimbatore and secured  3rd place in his maiden attempt as an Endurance Racer in 2010.
In fact his very  first car racing took  him  to the third place on the podium, along with famous  veteran  car racers from India.

Close on the heels , the same year he managed to enter the MRF International Challenge 2010 at the irrungattukottai  race circuit in Sri Perumpudur,  near Chennai, successfully completing 6 circuit races.
He surprised everyone by bagging   2nd Overall championship at the event. And the quest for speed  did not end there, Nithvin S.Ravindran  proved his driving skills by taking part in Hill Climbing too.  He secured 1st  place at the  ”Race to the clouds”  event at  Nandhi Hills, Bangalore, for which  he was awarded the   “ The Fastest Driver  –  Indian Cars”  2010.

Within a short span of time, Nithvin S.Ravindran  has won 17 trophies out of the 15 events  that he had participated. It may also be added that while Nithvin’s  father  S.Ravindran was confined to taking  photographs of car rallys & races in the yester years of all India fame  “Kari varadhan” ,   Nithvin went one step ahead by
taking on to the wheels and speeding on the race tracks.
